Are you pregnant? Do you have a planned c-section coming up? Have you had a c-section in the past and are looking for some guidance on how to recover fully and start feeling like yourself again?
Join Dr. Jenn Gelfand, Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, Yoga Instructor, and owner of Root To Rise PT & Pelvic Health for her workshop centered around all things C-Section and recovery. She will cover ways to effectively prepare for a c-section, tips and techniques to promote healing and healthy function postpartum (in the early days as well as many years later) and signs that you may need additional support. Dr. Jenn will discuss important topics such as scar tissue management, self screening for diastasis recti, connection to abdominal and pelvic floor muscles and safe return to exercise. She will guide you through gentle breathwork and movement to help you apply what you learn to your daily life. Please come with questions as this will be an interactive workshop!
